GD vs…. noone! It’s the Senior Party!

November 3, 2015 by Lisa Dingle

What a night! Congratulations Seniors! Coach showed up! Speeches were given and glasses were raised and stories and laughter was shared…. And dogs were fed, whether through stolen food or secret treat-ing. Thank you for hosting Niemollers! Thank you everyone for making the night so special :)) Photos are tough in the dark but somehow the ‘movement’ (doesn’t that sound better than ‘blurring’?!) was kind of cool to see.  Here are your pics!

GD vs. Quabbin 10/22/15

October 25, 2015 by Lisa Dingle

Quabbin! Lots and lots of humans kicking around a ball and a few scores to boot! There were a lot of possibilities for Superlative Awards this week… including the Best Use of Italian Hand Gestures… And the Best Example of Ankle Running… (Ya, I know! Ouch!) But this weeks Superlative Award is the “Player Most Likely to Have to Have a Growth Resembling a Soccer Ball Removed From His Head Post Season”… Congratulations Darren! (And good luck with the procedure, we’ll […]

GD vs. Bromfield October 17, 2015

October 23, 2015 by Lisa Dingle

Bromfield! The boys looked stunning in pink, of course (especially as they ran across the field, victorious and smiling :)) So, in this game, I noticed such a coincidence that I am sure the Coach has come up with a brand new way to confuse the opposition.  I think it is called the “YRTW IRT” move.  No, seriously, I am learning the game of soccer and I’m certain I am onto something. So, there is tie for superlatives this week […]

GD vs. Marlborough October 15, 2015

October 20, 2015 by Lisa Dingle

Every time we face Marlborough I’m nervous. This means I end up with my eyes behind the camera manically snapping away. Sure enough, by the time I got home and loaded the pics into my computer, I realized I’d taken over 600 pictures! To get it down even to 100 took quite a while but here we are! So… thank you boys, for not having me completely nervous for the entire game. A 4-1 win suits me fine and you all […]

October 20, 2015 by Lisa Dingle

Oh boy oh boy oh boy. A pretty dang hard fight, and a tie… which we needed to…. GO BLONDE! And so the Blonde Ambition Tour begins once we dye this weekend. But before that, we have some pics to look through. And before THAT comes this week’s GD Varsity Soccer Team Superlative which goes to…. Nate Martinez for the Holy Cow Is that Arm Really Attached to Your Body Award: Congratulations Nate! And, you know, I couldn’t leave this set […]

October 13, 2015 by Lisa Dingle

Beautiful day, and a beautiful game boys! The Superlative of the Game goes to Chris W. for the Keeper So Dangerous on the Field That He Must Be Detained By Any Means Necessary. Congratulations Chris! :)) This week we actually have two winners in the ‘detained’ category. The second winner is Mitch, for the GD Player Most Likely to Have An Opponent Want to Hold His Hand Superlative. Yay Mitch! :))

It was misty. It was kinda rainy. It was cold. I mean, really, what other choice did we have but to tie? Superlative of the Game goes to Drew, for “Best Forward Pass During the Wrong Type of Football Game” (Yay Drew!)
