What a day for the first scrimmage of the season, and what a treat to play against RGS!  The team has been visiting the states for two weeks and GD was their last match before heading back tomorrow night. The team was terrific, a great group of young men. The coaches were wonderful as well.  We ended the day with both teams spending the afternoon with pasta and a pool. Congratulations on a great play-off win! One game at a time, boys… one game at a time. Each one is special for different reasons. This one? This one was the last home game for our Seniors. ‘Straw’, ‘Hill-bee’, ‘Naani’, ‘Poit’, ‘Belanger’, ‘Buzan’, ‘Luuuuuuke’, ‘Keenan’, ‘Pedro’, and ‘Lexo’… You sure looked great in white.

It was a beautiful night under the lights to honor seniors, their parents and to celebrate a win.  Apologies for the small numbers of photos – boy is it hard to get good ones at night with young men whipping by with a little white ball! Don’t worry about not seeing the pics of the boys with their parents. I’m just working on those and will post them soon :))

I didn’t get a lot of photos of the night because I was having too much fun! What a great night at the Niemollers’ house, complete with the new tradition of toasting our seniors (great job Gabe and Pat!) and even some football on the lawn (no worries Coach, it was all very tame :)) Now on to the rest of the season!
